Work in a sort center is fundamentally different from a traditional fulfillment role. You are not picking individual items; you are dealing with sealed, completed packages that are moving rapidly down vast networks of conveyor belts. When the conveyor belts get heavily loaded during the midnight "rush," you will rely on your night-owl teammates to clear the lines and keep the supply chain moving seamlessly.

1. Rapid Package Routing: You will read complex digital routing labels as packages fly down the line, pulling them off the belt and sorting them into specific geographical chutes or designated postal carts.
2. Pallet Architecture: You will become a master of spatial reasoning. Sorting requires building perfectly stable, tightly packed pallets of boxes (often referred to as "playing Tetris" by our veteran associates), which are then heavily shrink-wrapped to prevent transit damage.
3. Fluid Loading Operations: Utilizing manual pallet jacks, you will safely transport these massive, wrapped pallets directly into the bellies of outbound 18-wheeler semi-trailers, staging them for the early morning over-the-road drivers.
